  2. To access the CD ROM files, you need to download a catalog file
  3. for this particular CD.
  4.  
  5. There can be MANY CD ROM's available on this BBS !
  6.  
  7. The Sysop can change the CD at anytime !
  8.  
  9. The reason the CD catalog is NOT available while you are online is
  10. simple;
  11.  
  12.    It would take up too much time for users to wad through
  13.    600 megabytes of directory data !
  14.  
  15. Here's how to do this:
  16.  
  17. 1. Download the list for the CD you are interested in. YOU ONLY
  18.    NEED TO DO THIS ONCE! CD's don't change!
  19.    (catalogs are in the "Cd" section of "Files" here)
  20.    
  21. 2. Pick the files you want from the list, "Copy" their names.
  22.  
  23. 3. "Paste" the names into a small text file.
  24.  
  25. 4. Call up, see what CD is onlne, press "Find". Then "Paste" the name
  26.    of the file you want when the system asks for it.
  27.  
  28. 5. Check to see that the system found the correct file.
  29.  
  30. 6. Download the file.

  33. GET "ZIP", "DDExpand", "Compactor", and other archiving programs
  34. FROM THE "Support" FILES area, NOT CD ROM !!!!
  35.  
  36. If you have a "older technology" computer that doesn't allow you
  37. to work on more than one text file at a time; Sorry, but it's 1992!
  38.  
  39. The CD's are normally changed every few days, requests are considered.
  40.  
  41. The name of the CD currently online is displayed at the menu.
